My name is Nessa and I have been cosplaying since 1998. I studied costume and properties design in my undergrad
and I have worked professionally as a seamstress and in the wardrobe department for both theatrical companies and films. I think there is always more to learn about costuming, and I enjoy meeting people at conventions and talking to them about their costumes. Though I enjoy sewing in general, I enjoy cosplay mostly because it always offers new and exciting ideas for me to try.
There are an endless amount of options, and a million decisions to make. It's certainly never dull.
